Preventive Care
In some cases, preserving an artwork can be achieved through improved storage and presentation.
For example, replacing acidic mount boards with museum-quality, acid-free cotton rag or buffered boards can prevent future deterioration, often eliminating the need for more extensive treatments in the future.
